We used to play at Pisco Bar when it was under and different name and ownership... The now fully remodeled Pisco Bar, continued the tradition of great Peruvian food and drinks, adding ample space for dancing and enjoying music while dinning or just having a drink. Saratoga has now a place to DANCE SALSA! COVER CHARGE: $15 .PLENTY OF PARKING AROUND.

After the success of our previous FREE shows at Burton Park, the City of San Carlos bring us back, for another early evening of Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha-Chá, Merengue, Latin Jazz, and much more, combining original material by Edgardo and re-known classics with the bands own twist.

FREE & OUTDOORS CONCERT! Uruguayan-born Oakland percussionist and bandleader Edgardo Cambón celebrates the ongoing legacy of these salsa stars with his Tributo a los 70’s. The project encompasses an array of irresistible dance rhythms, including mambo, guaracha, cha-cha, son, bolero and the horn-driven salsa dura sound that defined New York’s vibrant ‘70s scene. The repertoire reimagines songs by era-defining artists such as Hector Lavoe, Celia Cruz, Ray Barretto, Johnny Pacheco and the seminal Cuban timba band Los Van Van. Cambón also throws some original compositions into the mix, elaborating on the salsa dura hits that caught his ear as a teenager growing up in Montevideo.

Sponsored in part by "Music In Place" organization, this early evening concert at this legendary small and intimate -lets get close to the artist- theater venue will be charged with Latin energy at this semi acoustic setting. Come and feel the beat in your chest!

A concert of Original music written by Edgardo Cambon as a special guest, joining the Stanford Latin Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of pianist and teacher Murray Low. Edgardo and the students will perform come classics, as well as 5 original songs and arrangements written by Edgardo in the styles of Mambo, Cha-Cha-Cha, Candombe (from Uruguay), etc. Accompanying Edgardo will also be Uruguayan Candombe drummers Walter Gonzales, and Pedro "Uri" Macchiavello, to play the original Candombe composition "Cuando Me Falta El Tambor". Don't miss this special night at the prestigious Stanford Dinkelspiel Auditorium.

Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned 26 top industry awards since our debut last year.

There is a two drink minimum per guest.

Reserved table seating is available for purchase at this show. Non reserved seating is otherwise available first come, first served. Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. Only Almost Famous wines can be consumed on premise, but with a menu of 15 wines in diverse styles, there's something for everyone.
