A unique show featuring the music of the Rio De La Plata, the main river dividing Uruguay and Argentina, Styles like Tango, Milonga, Chacarera and Candombe are equally enjoyed and heard in both sides of the river.

The Seahorse in Sausalito is becoming without a doubt Sundays favorite  place to go dance Salsa, and to  enjoy a nice Italian dinner and a glass of wine while listening to a great Band. Joel & Sorcy teach a great Salsa dance class right at 8.30 PM where both beginners and intermediate can learn a lot. Band starts sharp at 10 PM. Dj Carlitos way usually sets the tone.

Last Sunday we played San José Flea Market, they put a nice wooden stage, we had a great time playing for this ALL AGES varied audience.
We have another of this shows on August 29th at another flea market in Concord, so We are calling this our Flea Market Tour! (LOL)

"Candela" will be taking a break due to Edgardo's trip to South America to be with his mother on her 80's birthday, his sisters 48 birthday (both on the same day July 24th) and his brothers 56 birthday (July 09)... In addition Edgardo will be doing some radio interviews and percussion clinics down there, as well as jamming with local Salsa and Latin Jazz bands, both in Uruguay and Argentina.
My dream is to be down there if either Uruguay or Argentina makes it to the final of the Soccer World Cup!

More info to come, but we will be sharing the stage with the group "Tiempo Libre."
This event presenting 6 stages features great artist such as Tony Bennett and KD Lang.

I have been playing music professionally since age 17, in April,  when I turn 50, it will be 33 years playing, 23 of those right here in the Bay Area! I want to celebrate with all of you at this great venue: Yoshi's San Francisco.
